Corn - microwave (found this method on You tube, years ago)

Fresh, local corn.  I buy only what we can eat that day.

Cut the end off of the corn, make certain you cut into the kernels or the cob will not fall out of the husk.

I eat the small end bit raw.....

I microwave on high 1 min, then flip it over for another minute.

Use a heat proof glove or mitt; this is HOT.  Let the corn fall out of the husk, the silk comes away clean.  No more mess!

easy clean up as all the corn husk and silk stays together!
