praline almonds - snack or salad topping

Lightly sprinkle almonds with sugar - I use high heat to start

As soon as sugar begins to melt, stir constantly and turn off the heat.

Pour nuts onto a plate so they cool quickly and do not burn.

I slice the almonds for salads.  You can buy any type of almond and use this method.
